Go for the location, it will take your breath away

Amazing location, stunningly beautiful. Wonderful property spread across several buildings across the sprawling site, all with their own version of the extraordinary sweeping views. Stylish, comfortable room with a balcony. Good breakfast, excellent dinner menu. But this place, for me, wasn’t about the food but the breath-taking location. Small disappointments… Sadly, some of the staff seemed less than fully engaged in their work. The flasks of hot water, supposedly available all day, were often empty.

Magical !!

The location is puerly magical!! It offers sunsets like nowhere else in the area of Tayrona (the National Park does not have such beautiful sunsets). It has a fantastic surrounding nature. It has both the luxury confortable option (suites) and the spectacular options (cabana). The Maloka is a mix between confort and spectacular. Staff is lovely and very accomodating. We took a great yoga class with Haile at sunrise. We had drinks in the Sierra bar, and a parrot was naturally roaming around. The photo is taken from the Sierra bar, which is near Cabana.

The webapp is not easy to register into, but once it is done you can order breakfast in bed :)

Fab hotel, stunning scenery !

What an amazing find. Gorgeous hotel in gorgeous setting! Service was fantastic and weather and views stunning.

Don’t expect Asia 5 star hotel. It’s actually quite rustic but all the better for it in our opinion.

Ioved the view from out balcony , loved the stroll down to the beach ,Staff were very friendly and helpfull food was great . Set in lovely grounds

The semi private pool for suites, the breakfast, the place as in the view of the beach and mountains, the staff

Would have liked to know beforehand that there are alligators literally less than a hundred meters from our ground level room, calmly swimming in the adjacent river. Apparently they are protected in the area, they didn’t approach us but still made us feel a bit uneasy. Also the room doesn’t have proper glass windows so, despite the anti mosquitoes things at a lot of places, there was wildlife coming in (small crabs and geckos, flying insects).

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you to the staff !

It was paradise. The location was perfect and so was the staff.

We would advise putting mosquito nets above the bed as there were quite a lot of insects in the room and especially in the ceiling.

Highly recommend!

A lovely hotel in an incredible location with beautiful views of the river and sea from our balcony. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was also very good in the restaurant. Would also recommend a massage in the spa, it was brilliant!

Wonderful location, overlooking river and seaside, right next to Parque Tayrone.

No windows in the rooms, makes for noisy nights, and ineffective air conditioning.

Food service was extremely slow. We ordered a slice of cake after dinner to be sent to the room and after 40 mins it still didnt come so we ended up cancelling it because we wanted to go to sleep… dinner also took 1.5h to come that night.

Beautiful tropical getaway - an experience that cannot be beat for the value.

This was the most beautiful place we've stayed. It feels like a mini eco lux resort. We stayed in the "pool suite." The room was equipped with a heated stone floor shower, a comfortable king bed, AC, and modern Colombian decor. It had an amazing view of the river, the pool, and the ocean. The suite pool was shared only with two other rooms. In addition, there is another pool for the hotel. The paths to access each part of the premises are stone, surrounded by gorgeous tropical plants. The hotel restaurant offers an incredible included breakfast, and excellent options for lunch and dinner to purchase. There are two ways to access the beach - one includes crossing the river which comes up to the thigh. I could not recommend this place more!

There could have been more seafood options considering the hotel is located directly on the sea. The drinks are pricey and small. And, it would have been nice to have windows instead of only screens to keep in the AC.
